Each apartment retains many of Metropolitan Wharf’s original features, from fully vaulted timber beams and exposed London brick to original rough oak floors and even the iron warehouse doors. Other designed features echo the heritage of the building, such as the bespoke spiral staircases created from folded mild steel. 

In harmony with the historical texture is a modern interior design created by Tom Dixon. Chandeliers of copper bronze fill the high roof spaces. Decorative features are picked out by theatrical spotlights. While in furnished apartments you’ll find design classics such as Flag Halyard chairs by Danish architect and designer, Hans Wegner, and Italian leather sofas designed in the 1970s and hand-stitched in Switzerland.
